This is our 4th of 4 course in the "Representing Buyers" Module. You have spent a lot of time getting leads, finding buyers, screening them, showing them houses, educating them on the process, writing offers, and negotiating offers. Now it’s time to close escrow.
A great agent who learns how to help their buyer close escrow has an opportunity to offer outstanding service. Outstanding service means doing a great job for your satisfied buyers, helping them get into the home of their dreams, and enjoying the referrals to their friends and family as well.
First, in this course you learn all the different people you will need to be working with to close escrow. We like to call that the Power Team. This team you will be able to use each time you are working on an escrow. This team will include lenders, vendors, attorney and inspectors just to name a few.
Second, we will give an overview of opening escrow. This will include doing the due diligence with your buyers. We will look at the doing home inspections, post-inspection repairs, disclosures, and getting an appraisal.
Next, we will go over the steps to getting the escrow closed. These consist of the Transfer of Title, the Title Report and make sure to not overlook Closing Costs. Lastly, we will want to make sure you are equipped to do a proper follow up and client survey to grow your business. If escrow sounds overwhelming, we are going to break it down step by step to help you close escrows.
